Asian markets were mostly closed over night but those that are open have closed higher. Neither the Nikkei225 or Hang Seng were in session today.
Alphabet earnings had unnerved the markets on Tuesday after a revenue miss but a good show and beat by APPLE saw their shares up 5% in after hours trading. The S+P500 has now enjoyed its best 4 month performance in 9 years and closed at another record high.
The DOW is the last to join the party but it may not be too long as futures sit less than 200 points from their all-time peak. With the FED meeting/conference later today, if the FED stay as accommodating as recently seen, the next leg up may be ready.
The markets aren’t running away with themselves at the moment and with the triumvirate of FOMC meeting, NFP and possibly trade discussions to read out by the weekend, we may see that intra dayrecord breached.
